At NORDIC TRAILER we have several solutions to meet the new weight and length regulations.
New lengths are available as open trailers, curtain trailers, box trailers and semi-trailers.

Brief summary:
As of January 1, 2024, the following significant changes have been introduced to Danish road transport for road trains.

WEIGHT:
53,000 kg gross vehicle weight for a six-axle trailer combination.
27,000 kg bogie load for trailers with three axlesassumes the distance between the first and last axle in the bogie is 2.80 m or more.
27,000 kg for trailers with three axles.

LENGTH:
The total length must be
a) 17.88 m for road trainsconsisting of car and semi-trailer (= 15 meter trailer), applies to 2, 3 & 4 axle tractor units in combination with correctly configured trailer/semi-trailer.
b) 18.75 m for other road trains.

With correct axle placement, a 13.6 m. trailer can also achieve 27,000 kg axle load, inaddition, there are new special rules for road trains equipped with a loading crane, contact us and we will be happy to help.
